This was based on a series of awesome guitar riffs that Elza wrote, with the chorus being inspired by the "too-ra-loo-ra-loo..." part of Come On Eileen. Dolan sang two different parts during the chorus that joined up in some victorious catchy part as Rob harmonized like Richard Carpenter and Todd did his best Juno distorted delay guitar part impersonation at the end of the song. I bet if you asked anyone how we came to make a lot of the decisions on this song that we made, we'd be all "fuck if I know," but it worked out pretty well if you'll allow us to get all self congratulatory here.
